NEW DELHI : 13 JUNE । Famous Shooter and Indian junior team's coach Jaspal Rana's daughter Devanshi Rana won a Gold medal in 10 meter pistol event of 2nd South Delhi District Open Shooting Competition. The South Delhi District Rifle Association (SDDRA), conducted the 2 nd South Delhi District Open Shooting Competition 2018 in Air Pistol & Air Rifle events at the Siri Fort Sports Complex on 26th May 2018 and 9th June 2018. The 2-day long competitions saw participation by 163 enthusiastic shooters – the youngest being 8 years old and the eldest 62 years.
The Chief Guest on the occasion was Shri Asif Ali, IPS, Dy Commissioner of Police (Licensing), Delhi Police. Insp. Azam Khan, SHO of Jamia Police Station and a renowned international level shotgun shooter also graced the occasion. They also gave away the medals to the winners. According to Shri Anupam Kamal, President of SDDRA, the uniqueness of this competition was that even children from economically weaker sections (EWS) participated through the NGO ISHWAR. Also, a special category of Under-12 boys and girls was created, where children could participate in the competition in sitting or standing position.

Mustafa; Khushi Kapoor; Mahima Singh; Devanshi Rana; Lovleen Kaur; Pooja Agarwal (Para category); Aadya Mall; Simran Kaur; Bhanu Priya; Kaushal Singh; Viraj Singh; Diya Phogaat.
The Silver Medal winners were: Agneya Kaushik; Dhruv Rawat; Abhijeet Chaudhary; Ravi Mathur; RK Sisodia; Satvik Kapoor; Aman Aryan Roach; Ojasvi Sangwan; Aishwary

The award ceremony concluded with the vote of thanks by Shri Abhijeet Singh, Vice President, SDDRA.
