Delhi's Little Shooter Prarthna Khanna Qualified for National Selection Trials


NEW DELHI : 07 JANUARY :  At the recently conducted 63rd National Shooting Championship in Bhopal, Delhi's Prarthana Khanna shot 537/600 to become the youngest (age 11 years and 1 month) to qualify for the National Selection Trials of 10mtr pistol shooting in 2020. She is good golf player also. 

Prarthana Khanna, now a Renowned shot in 10meter AirPistol Event, qualified for the 62nd National Shooting Championship (62nd NSCC) in 2018 with a score of 343/400 shot in the All India Inter School Championship 2018. She was only 9 yrs old when she qualified for the National Championship and now is one of the youngest shooters in the country competing at the National Level.

In the National Championship (62nd NSCC) 2018 she qualified with the score of 511/600 to become the youngest Renowned Shot in the country, she was just 10yrs 2 weeks old when she achieved this. 

In her recent championships she achieved a brilliant rank 11 at the Delhi State Shooting Championship 2019 with a score of 527/600 leaving behind many shooters much older to her.

It has been just 2 years now when she held the Air gun for the first time in November 2017 and has evolved as a serious and hardworking shooter at a very young age.
