अंर्तराष्ट्रीय शूटर अनमोल जैन ने जापान में जीते सिल्वर व कॉस्य पदक

बल्लभगढ़ : 10 दिसंबर I अंर्तराष्ट्रीय शूटर अनमोल जैन ने जापान के वाको शहर में रविवार को 10 मीटर एयर पिस्टल निशानेबाजी में उत्कृष्ठ निशानेबाजी करते हुए देश के लिए व्यक्तिगत तोर पर कॉस्य व टीम में सिल्वर पदक हासिल कर देश व प्रदेश का गौरव बढ़ाया है। अनमोल ने यह मैडल 10वीं एशियन एयरगन शूटिंग  चैम्पियनशिप में हासिल किए हैं। अनमोल के साथ टीम में बल्लभगढ़ के शूटर अभिषेक आर्य व यूपी के गौरव राणा हैं।

10वीं एशियन एयरगन शूटिंग चैम्पियनशिप जापान के वाको शहर में 8 दिसंबर से  11 दिसंबर तक चलेगी। रविवार को हुए जूनियर वर्ग के मैच में अनमोल जैन ने 577,गौरव राणा ने 569 व अभिषेक आर्य ने 557 का स्कोर मारा। तीनों शूटरों  ने कुल 1703 का स्कोर मारकर देश के लिए सिल्वर मैडल हासिल किया।

व्यक्तिगत तौर पर अनमोल जैन ने शानदार खेल का प्रदर्शन करते हुए कॉस्य  पदक हासिल कर देश व प्रदेश की झोली में दो मैडल की सौगात डाली। व्यक्तिगत  तौर पर चाइना के डब्ल्यू यूजीयायू ने गोल्ड व चाइना के ही टांगसिहाहो ने सिल्वर मैडल पर कब्जा जमाया। वाको शहर में हुई इस चैम्पियनशिप
प्रतियोगिता में भारत की ओर 37 शूटरों की एक टीम हिस्सा ले रही है।
जिसमें 27 देशों के करीब 407 खिलाड़ी हिस्सा ले रहे हैं। 

अनमोल के निजी कोच राकेश सिंह : अनमोल जैन ने शानदार शूटिंग का प्रदर्शन कर देश के लिए दो मैडल हासिल किए हैं। अनमोल एक मेहनती व सच्ची लग्न वाला  युवक है। दिन-रात मेहनत करने के बाद ही अनमोल ने यह दोनों मैडल हासिल किए हें। उन्हें उम्मीद ही नहीं यकीन है कि वह आने वाली प्रतियोगिताओं में भी
देश व प्रदेश के लिए मैडल हासिल करेगा।

अग्रवाल कॉलेज प्रबंधन ने दी बधाई  : जापान में 10वीं एशियन एयरगन चेम्पियनशिप में दो मैडल हासिल करने पर अनमोल जैन को उसके अग्रवाल कॉलेज प्रबधंन समिति के चेयरमैन देवेंद्र  गुप्ता व प्र्रिंसपल डॉ.कृष्णकांत गुप्ता ने बधाई देते हुए उसे जीवन में तरक्की करने का आर्शीवाद दिया है। कॉलेज के खेल शिक्षक डॉ.जगवीर सिंह ने भी अनेमाल जैन की इस सफलता पर उन्हें बधाई दी है। उन्होंने बताया कि अनमोल ने हाल ही अमृतसर में आयोजित ऑल इंडिया यूनिवर्सटी में गोल्ड मैडल जीत कर कॉलेज का नाम रोशन किया है।

Delhi Juniors win Silver Medal in first ever Mixed Trap Shooting Event at National Level

New Delhi :20 November I 61st National Shooting Championship Competitions (61st NSCC) being held in Delhi’s Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range, from 14-25 November 2017 mark a departure from earlier such competitions as Mixed Events were organized for the first time at the national level, in line with the decision of The International Shooting Sports Federation for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

The mixed events were added by the ISSF after the body axed men's 50m pistol, 50m rifle prone and double trap events from the Olympics cycle to accommodate International Olympic Committee's agenda of gender equality at the Games.

At the ongoing 61st National Shooting Championship Competitions, Delhi’s 15 year old Vibhhu Sharma and Saumya Gupta represented Delhi State Rifle Association and won Silver Medal. 

Vibhhu Sharma has been part of Top-12 National Squad Junior Shooters since his first National Championship in 2013. Vibhhu Sharma also scored his personal best of 113/125.

In the Junior Men’s Trap, Vibhhu Sharma was third to qualify for the finals with a score of 113 in qualifications, which was topped by Rajasthan’s Aman Ali Elahi with a score of 116. Interestingly 15-year-old Vibhhu Sharma equated the score of this year’s Gold medalist Lakshay Sheoran of Haryana.

Vibhhu Sharma, currently studying in Class Xth at Sanskriti School, New Delhi is a keen learner and has equal interest in academics, music, and sports. He had recently won Sanskriti School’s Sarvocch Puruskar for academic achievements in all subjects. Vibhhu feels that the sport of shooting has helped him become strong willed and determined to excel not just in sports but academics too. Vibhhu is an avid runner, runs 8 Kms every day. Vibhhu was also Awarded ABRSM Trophy for distinction in Music and Piano conducted by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London.

Vibhhu feels that the sport of shooting has helped him become strong willed and determined to excel not just in sports but academics too. Vibhhu is an avid runner, runs 8 Kms every day. Vibhhu was also Awarded ABRSM Trophy for distinction in Music and Piano conducted by The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London.

Devanshi Rana secures second place at Selection Trials in Air Pistol event

New Delhi :18 November I Jaspal Rana's daughter Devanshi Rana gave a tough competition to Haryana 's Manu Bhaker in the finals of 10 meter Air Pistol women event at National Selection Trials.  Junior shooter Devanshi shot 240.8 while Manu scored 241.2 in the finals at  Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range, New Delhi. Lakhbir Sindhu on Punjab was eliminated on the third place and another junior Yashaswini Deswal was at 4th place in the finals. Junior shooting team is performing well at National and International levels in the guidance of Jaspal Rana, who is training India's junior shooting team as chief coach.

Air Force Shooters won both CoC Titles at Indian Revenue Open Shooting Championship – 2017

New Delhi :15 November I Indian Air Force shooter Ravi Kumar wins the title of ‘Champion of Champions’ in 10m Air Rifle event at ‘Indian Revenue Open Shooting Championship’-2017, while Shahzar Rizvi of IAF won the ‘Champion of Champions’ in Air Pistol event at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range. Both were awarded the cash award of Rs.10,000 including a gold medal. Akhil Sheoran and Shriyanka Sadangi became the first and second runner-up in Air Rifle COC, while Abhishek Arya and Vikash Kumar were 1st and 2nd runner-up in Air Pistol COC. 1st runner ups were awarded by Rs.7000 cash and a silver medal and second runner up were honoured by Rs.3000 cash and a bronze medal.

1st Indian Revenue Open Shooting Championship concluded successfully at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range. The championship was conducted in 10 mtr. Air Rifle/Pistol, 25 mtr. Sports Pistol / Standard Pistol / Centre Fire pistol and 50 mtr Free Rifle and Free Pistol events. The competition was organized by Indian Revenue Officers Shooting Club, which is formed by the officers of the Indian Revenue Services viz. Customs, GST, Income Tax, DRI etc. The event was conducted by the Delhi State Rifle Association under the aegis of the NRAI.

The championship concluded with the CHAMPION OF CHAMPION event in both Air Rifle and Air Pistol wherein top 4 female shooters and top 4 male shooters competed against each other in a thrilling shoot off. The top three rankers in all categories and events were also given medals and certificates.
The officials of the IROSC Dr. John Joseph, Member, Central Board of Excise & Customs and President IROSC, Shri Pradeep Kumar, Commissioner (GST) and  Secretary IROSC and Shri Arjun Chandra Mehrishi, Senior Intelligence Officers, GST Intelligence and Treasurer, IROSC, extended their congratulations to all the winners and participants and also thanked the DSRA, SAI and NRAI for smooth conduct of the tournament. They informed that the second edition of the tournament in 2018 would be conducted on a even bigger scale. All the shooters praised the IROSC and DSRA for the smooth conduct of the tournament and expressed their desire to participate next year also.

The championship was a grand success with more than 400 shooters from all over India including some International level shooters, and high ranking Revenue officers from the Customs/GST/Income Tax department, took part in the tournament. Many top ranking shooters in the Senior / Junior / Youth categories viz. Sanjeev Rajput, Ravi Kumar, Yashaswini Deswal, Shweta Singh, Shahzar Rizvi, Deepak Kumar, Amit Kumar Pilania, Akhil Sheoran, Shrine Godara, Shriyanka Sadangi, Hema K.C., Yujvendra, Farid Ali etc. participated in the tournament and provided a spectacular show of high scoring shooting to the delight of the spectators. DSRA Chairman and Chief Coach of Indian Junior Shooting Team Padmashree Jaspal Rana was also present at the prize distribution ceremony and honored the winners with medals and certificates.

North Zone Shooting Championship Concluded with Highest Number of Participants in Delhi

NEW DELHI : 10 NOVEMBER, The 37th North Zone Shooting Championship ends with record entries participation, more than 4000 shooters from across the North Indian states participated in this event. Initially Punjab shooters were leading in most  of the events, but at the end Delhi and Haryana Shooter's performed better at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range. This competition was organised by Delhi State Rifle Association and conducted by National Rifle Association of India. At the final prize distribution ceremony DSRA Chairman Padmashree Jaspal Rana thanked all the officials and participants to make this event a grand success. Indian Revenue department's senior officer Arjun Chandra Maharishi honored the medal winner shooters. 

Olympic Silver medalist shooter Vijay Kumar won 2 gold and a silver medal at 25 meter range in different events. Haryana's Vijay Kumar shot 569 in 25 mtr standard pistol event to win the gold, Mahaveer Singh of Rajasthan scored 565 for silver and Samresh Jung of CISF had to satisfied with bronze medal on 557 points. 

Vijay Kumar also won Gold medal in 25 mtr Rapid Fire pistol event on a score of 572, Harpreet Singh of Haryana and Arpit Goel of Delhi won silver and bronze medal on 570 and 565 scores. 
Ace shooter Samresh Jung clinched the gold medal in 25 mtr Center Fire pistol event by scoring 584, Vijay Kumar 580 and Harpreet Singh 576 both from Haryana won silver and bronze in this event. 
Junior world record holder Yashaswini Singh Deswal of Haryana won gold medal in 10 mtr Air Pistol event with 380 points. Haryana's Manu Bhaker gave a tough fight and shot 378 to win silver, while Rajasthan's Yasha Singh scored 376 for a Bronze medal. 

Delhi's Mahima Singh won another gold medal on 25 meter range in Sports Pistol NR event with 282 points, Tanu Rawal 278 and Tejaswini Singh 275 got silver and bronze medal in this event. 
Nishant Dalal of Haryana won a gold medal in 50 mtr 3 Position ISSF Junior men event with 1151 points, Delhi's Nishant Malik shot 1134 for silver medal and Kunaksh Verma of Punjab got bronze medal on 1115 points. 

Bhawana Chaudhary of Haryana grabbed gold medal in Double Trap ISSF women event by shooting 84 clay pigeons, Rukman Katyal of Delhi shot 76 for silver and Punjab's Prabsukhman Kaur shot 72 to get bronze medal. 

In Double Trap Shooting men event, Shardul Vihan of Uttar Pradesh scored 131 to win gold medal, Shapath Bhardwaj of Uttarakhand shot 127 for silver and Delhi's Vikram Bhatnagar shot 123 for bronze. 

Double Trap shooting NR event, Anushka Singh Bhati of Rajasthan shot 34 clay pigeons for gold medal, Ishika Chaprana of Delhi scored 29 to get silver and Pravjot Kaur Panesar got bronze medal on 27 point score. 

In Double Trap Shooting NR Junior event, Gold and silver medal went to Punjab on an identical score shot by Jaswinder Singh and Gurpratap Singh, while Delhi's Vardaan Bhatnagar won Bronze medal as he shot 36 clay pigeons at Dr Karni Singh Shooting Range
