New Delhi 24 October, 2018, : The residents of Model town spent their Sunday swaying with Dandiya to the beats of the much popular "In my feelings" by Drake fused with traditional garba background score. They were offered a wide array of traditional garba music with a hint of western hits mingled together, bringing in a footfall of people from all age groups: from toddlers accompanying their moms to young adults. The locally popular RJ studio hosted the much celebrated evening for the joyous audience.
Being the trendsetter RJ studio has always been, the team decided to not leave garba behind to navratri, they continued their Garba fever for Diwali. Not only did they whirl to Garba, but they also shopped at many stalls exhibiting items like Stationary and gifts for kids, innovative houseware, Women's ethnic attire and jewellery, Rajasthani Bangles and earrings, Cosmetics and beauty products. " We took care of all our varied audiences, We have tattoo painting for kids, rangoli workshop for teens , makeup and hair for our young girls and tarot reading for all the ladies. We took care of everyone's entertainment", said Rishab Jain, the owner of RJ Studio. Rishab popular as RJ, a fitness trainer and zumba expert by profession has been taking zumba lessons at his studio since 10 years. He is also taking yoga, gymnastics, hula hoops and choreography on daily basis for the local residents. He is highly recommended in the society as a choreographer and an excellent fitness trainer.
This event, Dandiya Raas brought together the entire town together as they celebrated and swayed to Dandiya beats. There was a surprise performance on the trending hit " chogada thara, from Love Yatri" by RJ's students. It looked like a flash mob, was a treat to everyones eyes.
"We had such a great time here, it was one of the best garba events of the season.", said Geeta, a local participant.
